Applied Kinesiology

Applied Kinesiology™ is a form of diagnosis that utilises muscle testing to normalise, strengthen, and balance the body. It is used to examine how a person’s body is functioning on a structural, chemical, or emotional level.

Applied Kinesiology is used to address issues within the endocrine, immune, digestive, craniosacral, nervous, and musculoskeletal systems. It does not detect disease or pathology but looks to address a poorly functioning body through structural and tonal adjustments, dietary and lifestyle changes, and nutritional supplements. Applied Kinesiology is a great tool Dr. Kiri uses to help you get well and stay well.

Applied Kinesiology uses a variety of assessment and treatment techniques to address weakened and strained muscles. This can include muscle testing, meridian therapy, joint mobilization, myofascial techniques, CranioSacral-based techniques, and reflexology.

Applied Kinesiology was developed in 1964 by chiropractor Dr. George Goodheart, based on his experiences and skills in chiropractic, Chinese meridian theory, joint mobilization, myofascial therapy, reflexology theory and techniques, nutrition, and craniosacral techniques.

Components of all of these techniques can be found in Applied Kinesiology.

Treatment

Precise muscle testing, force challenges, and motion analysis are used to pinpoint strengths or weaknesses within the musculoskeletal, organ, nervous, or energetic systems of the body.

Based on the results of the testing, several holistic health practices and techniques may be used. Specific joint manipulation or mobilization, myofascial therapies, osteopathic cranial techniques, meridian therapy, clinical nutrition, dietary management, and various reflexology procedures may be used.

Neuro Emotional Technique

Neuro Emotional Technique is a mind-body technique that uses a methodology of finding and removing neurological imbalances related to the physiology of unresolved stress. NET is a tool that can help improve many behavioral and physical conditions.

NET practitioners are trained to assist the body’s healing processes by identifying and balancing unresolved emotional influences caused by both real and imagined events.

Think of unresolved emotions stored in your body as similar to a computer error that can short circuit your desires and affect your health. A current stressor in your life is more likely to develop into a trauma if it is similar to an event that was traumatic for you in the past. When the earlier unresolved event is revealed and released at the basic energy level, however, most current emotional reactions or traumas dissolve in response.
